Dear Sir or Madam:
Dong-Jiong Badminton School is a
professional badminton school established by Dong-Jiong, the formal badminton
world championship. As the junior badminton club named by the General
Administration of Sport of China, the school for traditional events, and the
badminton training base in Beijing,
it has been devoting its efforts to selecting and training of junior badminton
players. Junior badminton players from all over China has got excellent
achievements in many junior badminton tournaments and competitions after
getting the systematic professional training at the school. Meanwhile, it has
feeded several promising junior players to Beijing Municipal Badminton Team.
To promote the
friendship between junior badminton players from different countries and to
structure the platform for exchange of badminton skills and techniques, the
2009 International Junior Badminton Training Camp & Tournament, initiated
by Beijing Badminton Association and Dong-Jiong Badminton Club, will be held in
July 2009 in Beijing.
We are very pleased to invite your association/club to set up teams to
participate in this event.

Date of Tournament: July 23 to July 26, 2009

Reception: Pick-up and see-off at the airport, local
transportation, food, and accommodation are included in the fees for the period
from July 12 to July 26, 2009 (The tickets for tourism will be paid separately
upon their actual costs)
Fees: RMB450
per person per day (2-people standard room provided. Extra fees may apply for
the special requirements on accommodation)

2009 International Junior Badminton Training
Camp & Tournament

3. Date & Location of the Event
3.1 The
training and sightseeing for the camp will be arranged on the-every-second-day
basis from July 13 to July 22
3.2 The tournament will
be held from July 23 to July 26 at Dong-Jiong Badminton Club
4.
Participants: Top junior badminton teams
from different countries
5. Events: Men’s Single, Women’s Single, Men’s Double,
Women’s Double, and Mix Double
6. Policies for the Event
6.1 The tournament will be organized on the basis of country
or region the teams/players belong to without limitation to the number of teams
and players to be participating
6.2 Age Requirements:
17 year old and under without considering age group
6.3 Method of Participation
6.3.1
Fill out the registration
form, and send to Dong-Jiong Badminton Club by June 10, 2009
6.3.2
Only individual
events, no group events. There are 5 individual events including Men’s Single,
Women’s Single, Men’s Double, Women’s Double, and Mix Double. Players are
allowed to register up to 3 events
6.3.3
The Players must
be in good health condition adaptive to this camp & tournament. The players
are solely responsible for taking caring of their health

The Laws of the Tournament
7.1 The latest International Badminton Federation (IBF)
Laws of Badminton will be adapted
7.2 The birdies are provided by the organizer while the
rackets are self-provided
7.3 The match rules will be notified later according to
the number of teams/players according to the final registration information

Prizes
The
winners of each event are awarded to a certificate, money award, and/or
souvenir

Miscellanea
9.1 Deadline for
registration is June 10, 2009. The scheduled flight information should be
provided to Dong-Jiong Badminton Club 2 days ahead of arrival in order to make arrangements
for pick-up at the Beijing
International Airport
9.2 Food, accommodation,
and local transportation during the period of the camp & tournament in Beijing are provided by Dong-Jiong
Badminton Club
10. Further
