A few words from the organizer

I would like to thank everyone for their help and support in promoting, organizing and running the tournament. I can honestly say that without ODBA support this tournament would not have ran as well as it did. I have gotten great feedback on the structure and the overall enjoyment of the tournament.
I'm glad to say that I've achieved all the goals that had set for this tournament:
        All participants received a prize;
        Play a minimum of 5 games;
        Every dollar that was made from registration fees was spent on the tournament, and
        Most important, there is a demand for another one.
Hopefully this tournament has inspired junior players to play more experience players, and to challenge themselves. It is by entering adult tournaments, instead of playing the same 3 or 4 people they see in the junior tournaments that they will gain the necessary experience. It is my personal belief that the only way to improve is to lose.
Special mentions to Fei for helping me get organized, to Charles for printing forms and promoting this tournament, to Jana for printing the labels, and Albert for providing the medals.
It has been great working with everyone, and I truly enjoyed organizing this tournament. I'll be going back to university, but I'll be back next year to organize a bigger; better tournament.
