The Ruby Cup has started last year. It was just open to all Asian players in the Montreal area and less than 100 players had played. This year, Ruby Cup started to open up to accept non-Asian players from far and near. The number of participants has increased to 120. Ottawa players did quite well at their first jouney to this tournament.
