Former RA Badminton Club member, Carl Baxter, scored an impressive victory over Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk of Thailand 21-8, 21-17 in the opening round of Men's Singles at the Victor Korean Super Series 2010 Badminton tournament in Seoul, Korea. Baxter will now face number four seed Chunlai Bao of China in second round play.
In Mixed Doubles play Toby Ng and Grace Gao of British Columbia lost 21-18, 21-12 to Moriyasu Hirata and Miyuki Maeda of Japan while in Men's Doubles Toby Ng partnered with Haeng Ham Lee to take on Fui Seok Chung and Dae Fun Kim of Korea but lost a tough three set match 21-19, 13-21, 21-23. Both Canadian pairs were eliminated from further competition.
