- Ottawa badminton players brought home a record five medals from the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations badminton championships at Stratford. Bell was well represented with Chisato Isobe and Oliver Cowley winning gold in mixed doubles, Corey Hum and Kevin Tseng winning gold in men's doubles and Annie Tseng a silver in women's singles. Kirk Hansen of Sir Robert Borden contributed a gold medal in men's singles, and Stéphane Lemire and Jean-Kervens Pierre of Franco Cité won a bronze in men's doubles.
