The Beckwith Badminton Club plays from mid Sept to the end of May with members on the courts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is the usual solid core of members who seem to have there forever and every year we pick up new players to improve our “gene pool”. Socially the group seems to work well together and we usually have a great turn out for our annual end of year dinner in late May.
Club members enter the occasional competition and always come back impressed with other valley players but happy to have the facility we take for granted. Our three courts are going non-stop and depending on the attendance a pretty good work out is guaranteed. The club offers a good evening of sport and socializing and the regulars are rarely missing.
